It's an exciting time at Asbury United Methodist Church. Our playground construction began on April 12th thanks to many volunteers and partners in prayer and giving. The plan is to have it completed in the coming month. The dedication is planned for June 14th. We will have a cookout and will be pre-registering children for Vacation Bible School, which will be held June 23-27, that day as well. We may even have a band to come jam some tunes. We invite you to come join the resurrecting spirit as we shape the future one person at a time.
ANOTHER CELEBRATION
Asbury United Methodist Church welcomes our newest member Jimmy Raines. Jimmy has confirmed his baptism and is already active in service in the local church helping with the sound system and attending Sunday School and worship. Jimmy and his beautiful children, Elizabeth and Hunter, came to us like a gift from God. New to the community they appeared at our church looking for a place to belong. Jimmy has really set his priorities in order with God first. We will surround this family with Christian love. With God's help, we will love the children into the kingdom as well. WELCOME JIMMY!
